MEDLI Modelling and Irrigation Management Plan in Townsville
We were approached to develop an irrigation management plan for the utilisation of recycled wastewater on a newly developed sports field in Townsville.
The investigation required the identification of on-site soils and the nutrients status of irrigation water. MEDLI modelling was used to estimate the potential impacts from treated wastewater on local soils.
Our team provided a report to the client which included recommended irrigation volumes and frequency rates. These recommendations were adopted by Townsville City Council, and Peggy Banfield Park is now in operation.
