Project Management delivery of Burke Shire Community Hub

We were commissioned by Burke Shire Council to undertake the project management delivery of a new $4 million community hub. The client wanted a hallmark project with high impact.

Given the remote locality of this project, and the limited local capability for building works, it was determined that a modular construction was not appropriate. Therefore, we advised that a design and construct contract was most appropriate.

There was a lot of interest from modular construction contractors. In the end, a locally based Cairns contractor was awarded this project. A local contractor’s camp was established in the community to successfully deliver this eye catching project.
