Overland Flow Certification Report for Tosari Farms

We were engaged by Tosari Farms to provide an Overland Flow Certification Report.

The report identified annual water losses of 1,658 ML through the survey of irrigation infrastructure, overland flow paths, water capture and control points, contour lines, and dam capacities.

It was determined that improved irrigation infrastructure could result in annual water savings of 368 ML at a cost of some $580,000. These savings were detailed in a report submitted to the Department of Natural Resources and Mines (DNRM) as part of the Healthy Headwater Water Use Efficiency (HHWUE) scheme. Funding amounting to 90% of the cash cost was successfully granted by the scheme and 50% of water savings were transferred back to the federal government.
