Atherton Tablelands Chimney Stack

We have a long history of delivering complex tall structures.

In January, our structural engineering team successfully designed and delivered a new chimney stack for the Tablelands Sugar Mill, working with our client TEi Services Pty Ltd.

The completed chimney stands at 37 meters in height, is 2.8 meters in diameter, and is joined by massive 64 millimetre diameter bolts. This project required complex design solutions, and detailed modelling for the dynamic elements of this tall structure. We have also developed successful partnerships with local specialists in finite element modelling, Rockfield Technologies.
