Graduate Surveyor
Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with and progressively leading components of cadastral, engineering and control surveys;
Undertaking survey fieldwork, calculations and survey searching;
Preparing and drafting survey plans and reports using CAD software (Auto CAD and Topcon Magnet);
Supporting the checking, finalisation and filing of plans and documentation;
Liaising with internal team members, clients and external stakeholders;
Managing survey equipment and vehicles; Contributing to projects in line with agreed timeframes, budgets and quality standards.
This role offers a balance of office‑based and field work, with exposure to varied environments and project types.
Qualifications You’ll also have a strong interest in continuing professional development and working towards Registered Surveyor accreditation.
Required Experience A bachelor’s degree in surveying or equivalent;
Practical experience across surveying fieldwork and drafting;
Proficiency in Auto CAD, Topcon Magnet and Microsoft Office (or similar software programs) and strong IT skills and ability to learn relevant software programs;
Working knowledge of relevant surveying and planning legislation;
Strong time management, attention to detail and problem‑solving skills;
Confident communication skills and the ability to work well in a team;
A proactive approach and accountability for your work;
A current Australian driver’s licence.
