Civil Engineer

Key Responsibility You’ll work across a broad mix of urban and regional civil projects, contributing from concept through to construction. Day to day, this includes civil design and documentation, engineering calculations and reports, and involvement in project and design management. You’ll collaborate closely with senior engineers, liaise directly with clients and authorities, and take responsibility for producing clear, accurate and well‑considered deliverables.

This is not a siloed role. You’ll be reliable to manage your workload, flag risks early, and take pride in the quality of what you put your name on.

Required Experience Essential: A Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering

Consulting experience in civil engineering, ideally across urban or infrastructure projects

Confidence using tools such as Auto CAD and 12d, with exposure to drainage and modelling software

Strong fundamentals in design standards, documentation and engineering judgement

The ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate clearly, and meet agreed deadlines

Desirable: Around 2-3+ years’ experience in a consulting environment

Industry memberships or working toward chartership

Exposure to project or design management responsibilities
