Latest News Sod Turning Marks Start of Construction at Ingenia Lifestyle Seagrove

Premise recently attended the official sod turning ceremony for Ingenia Lifestyle Seagrove in Yeppoon, celebrating the transition from planning to construction on a project more than three years in delivery.

Premise was represented by Chris Shields, Premise Rockhampton General Manager, alongside Ingenia representatives, local and state government stakeholders, and project partners.

Seagrove is an over‑50s lifestyle resort featuring 322 planned home sites and a range of contemporary community facilities to support active and connected living.

Planned amenities include a dining room, kitchen, bar, salon, library, arts & craft room, lounge, cinema, games room (darts, pool tables, golf simulator), swimming pool, spa, bowling green, dog park, makers space and walking trails.

The development is expected to be the first of its kind delivered on the Capricorn Coast, with first residents anticipated to receive their keys in 2027.

Premise has supported the project since its early stages, providing engineering services across due diligence, acquisition, concept, detailed design, approvals, tendering and delivery.

Chris Shields said the sod turning marked a significant milestone for both the project team and the region.
